First things first:  Registration check-in for the convention took place outside the second-floor ballroom of the convention building next to the hotel. The speakers, forums, and plenary sessions took place in the ballroom, which was opened up to hold the more than 977 registered members.  Left picture, left booth:  Joan Gones, Cape Girardeau Branch, volunteered for a shift in the Information booth.  She wears a hat decorated with a teal crocheted flower and ribbon to alert members to her status as a local volunteer.  Left picture, right booth:  Charlotte Parsons, Jefferson City Branch, displays a teal crocheted flower instead of a hat.  She was assigned to the credentials booth.  A number of registration booths were set up to handle the influx of members as they arrived.  At times the line snaked around the rope barrier and around a corner.  Left picture, third booth from left: Kay Meyer and Linda Duckworth help some late arrivals - entering computer data, providing the registration packet and a Shop AAUW bag of information, and answering questions
